Professor Ruth Simmons, President of Brown University in the U. S., Professor Clyde Briant, Vice President of Brown University, and Professor Ronald Margolin, Vice President of Brown University, visited Tsinghua on October 27. Professor Chen Xi, President of Tsinghua University Council, had a talk with Professor Simmons.
Professor Chen gave an introduction to Tsinghua during their talk and expressed the hope that cooperation could be built between Tsinghua and Brown University on joint education and research.
