Tsinghua University held its commencement ceremony for the undergraduate class of 2024 on June 29.

During the ceremony, the University awarded bachelor's degrees to 3,685 undergraduates. Likewise, 46 undergraduate students were awarded second bachelor's degrees and 267 undergraduate students were awarded minor bachelor's degrees. The list of the titles awarded were announced, of which 10 classes were awarded the title of “exemplary classes,” 77 undergraduate students were awarded the title of “outstanding undergraduates,” and 355 undergraduate students were awarded the title of “excellent undergraduates.”

Wearing caps and gowns, Tsinghua graduating undergraduates gathered at the Tsinghua gymnasium for this unforgettable event. For many, today marks the beginning of a new chapter of life. After graduation, they will continue to strive in their own fields and embark on various paths in life once again.

The ceremony was also streamed live on “Rain Classroom” platform in both Chinese and English so that the families and friends of the graduating students could watch it virtually.
