The Tsinghua-Veolia International Symposium on Organic Micropollutants control in Aquatic Environment was held in SOE from May 26 to 27.
The symposium was co-organized by Tsinghua University and the Joint Research Center for Advanced Environmental Technology, with more than 50 attendants from US, Australia, France, Germany, Sweden, and China.
Yu Gang, Dean of SOE, and Jorge Mora, CEO of Veolia Environmental Service in Asia addressed the opening ceremony on the environmental challenges in China’s future. The symposium focused on the latest research progress in elimination technologies of micro- pollutants control in an aquatic environment.
