美國(guó)圣母大學(xué)開(kāi)展2023年暑期實(shí)驗(yàn)室研修項(xiàng)目,，擬邀請(qǐng)我校學(xué)生參加。項(xiàng)目具體事宜如下：
※考慮新冠疫情的影響,，本項(xiàng)目存在不確定因素,，不排除錄取后無(wú)法實(shí)際派出的情形,，請(qǐng)申請(qǐng)人及相關(guān)院系充分留意各種不確定因素并提前做好相關(guān)預(yù)案。
一,、項(xiàng)目介紹
美國(guó)圣母大學(xué)（University of Notre Dame）創(chuàng)建于1842年,，是一所私立天主教研究型大學(xué)，位于美國(guó)印地安納州密歇根湖畔的南本德市,，歷年來(lái)穩(wěn)居全美20所頂尖學(xué)府之列,，2023年圣母大學(xué)將開(kāi)展暑期實(shí)驗(yàn)室研修項(xiàng)目。
The International Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (iSURE) provides opportunities for international undergraduate and master's students to conduct research at the University of Notre Dame. Students will gain valuable hands-on research experience and exposure to broader areas of research. Students work closely with Notre Dame faculty and graduate students on a variety of ongoing research projects. Upon successful completion of the program, all iSURE participants will receive an official program completion certificate from the University of Notre Dame. We are offering a total of 44 projects in the Summer of 2023.
On campus housing is provided for all iSURE students throughout the program as well as a series of activities and events to engage iSURE cohorts with other summer students. Some of the signature events include:
wFace-to-face Q&A sessions with Graduate Admissions Committee of certain departments
wField trip to Chicago and visit Chicago’s most iconic attractions
wEvening activities such as speed-friending, scavenger hunt, ice-skating, and star-gazing
wResearch poster/presentation sessions
wInteractions and discussions with Notre Dame undergraduate students

二,、項(xiàng)目時(shí)間
2023年7月5日—8月26日（共8周）
三,、相關(guān)費(fèi)用
1.項(xiàng)目申請(qǐng)費(fèi)70美元；
2.項(xiàng)目費(fèi)5500美元,，該費(fèi)用包含：
wHousing on Notre Dame's campus for the entire duration of the program
wMeal plan covering most meals throughout the program at the buffet-style campus dining hall
wNotre Dame student health insurance
wDay trip to Chicago
wReception with participating faculty
wOther program-sponsored activities and events
3.錄取學(xué)生有機(jī)會(huì)獲得500-1500美元不等的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金資助，該獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金由外方學(xué)校直接評(píng)定,；
4.申請(qǐng)者還需個(gè)人負(fù)擔(dān)往返國(guó)際旅費(fèi),、辦理護(hù)照簽證的費(fèi)用，以及其他個(gè)人支出,。
四,、申請(qǐng)條件
1.我校正式注冊(cè)在讀的二、三年級(jí)本科生,，或非畢業(yè)年級(jí)碩士研究生,；
2.專業(yè)方向或研究興趣與所申請(qǐng)崗位一致，有相關(guān)研究經(jīng)歷者優(yōu)先,；
3.成績(jī)優(yōu)秀,，Minimum GPA of 3.0；
4.英文水平良好(Minimum TOEFL iBT "My Best Score" 80, IELTS 6, Duolingo English Test 105),。
五,、申請(qǐng)流程
1.申請(qǐng)人于2023年2月13日前提交校內(nèi)申請(qǐng)，具體流程為：登錄info—在線服務(wù)系統(tǒng)—國(guó)際處—學(xué)生海外學(xué)習(xí)短期項(xiàng)目申請(qǐng),。提交時(shí)：
（1）擬申請(qǐng)項(xiàng)目代碼為：2023015,；
（2）在相應(yīng)位置上傳：英文版成績(jī)單、英語(yǔ)水平證明,。
2.申請(qǐng)人于2023年2月15日（February 15, 2023 at 11:59PM US Eastern Time）前完成外方網(wǎng)申：

3.2月15日之后,，外方學(xué)校啟動(dòng)錄取工作，錄取結(jié)果將通過(guò)郵件告知,；
4.3月15日—4月30日外方學(xué)校協(xié)助錄取學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備簽證材料,。
Note： All applicants are advised NOT to contact the faculty before receiving admission to ensure the fairness of the selection process. We reserve the right to withdraw any applicant from the program for this reason.
